The objective of the Columbia High School Tiny House Project is to give students the opportunity to engage in real-life, hands-on construction experiences. Throughout the tiny house construction students will gain valuable insight and experience with wood structural framing, plan reading, insulation, door and window installation, roofing, siding and interior finish carpentry. At the final stage of the project, students complete the tiny house and prepare it for sale. This grant award is for the door and window package provided by Home Depot to complete that portion of the tiny house.
