HMS and CHS Camera Upgrade - $11,611

This grant provides new mirrorless cameras for the yearbook and photography programs at both CHS and HMS. Mirrorless cameras have become the industry-standard for many professional photographers. This grant also funds equipment to modify old technology so that the schools can utilize existing lenses with the new mirrorless cameras. This allows improved instruction and images in a variety of classes and for a range of publications: yearbook, mini-documentary lessons, social media, inhouse video display. Since mirrorless technology is the future of photography, investing in these cameras ensures that the school has up-to-date, reusable equipment that can support multiple student projects over time.
