WSVEF introduces new "Learning Beyond the Classroom" Experimental Grant Round!

Attention Teachers!

The mission of the White Salmon Valley Education Foundation (WSVEF) is to enrich education for every student in our district. As we look toward the future, we are committed to evolving alongside our schools to meet the changing needs of our teachers and students.

As part of our strategic planning this year, we are exploring new ways to ensure that "learning is for life." We’ve heard your feedback and understand that some of the most meaningful, enriching experiences happen outside the traditional classroom walls.

Introducing: The Field Trip & Experiential Learning Fund

For the 2026-2027 school year, WSVEF is opening an experimental funding round specifically designed to bridge the gap for field trips and off-site experiences. We want to empower you to create hands-on opportunities that meaningfully enhance your curriculum and inspire your students.

  • Who can apply? All teachers across the White Salmon Valley School District.

  • What is it for? Field trips, site visits, or unique experiences that align with your 2026-2027 learning goals.

  • The Timeline: Awards will be finalized and announced prior to the start of the 2026-2027 school year, so you can plan your curriculum with confidence.

Help us shape the future of our funding priorities. We look forward to seeing your innovative ideas!
