AVID Washington College Tour

Freshman and sophomore AVID students will travel to Western Washington for a two-day college tour designed to help rural and first-generation college-bound students see themselves pursuing higher education. Students will visit the University of Puget Sound, The Evergreen State College, and the University of Washington, giving them firsthand experience with three very different college environments. Along the way, students will meet with admissions representatives, tour campuses, learn about financial aid and student resources, and use AVID reflection activities to think about what they want from their own education after high school.
