White Salmon Valley Education Foundation Welcomes Kylie Uffelman as Executive Director
March 1st, 2023
The board of directors of the White Salmon Valley Education Foundation is thrilled to announce Kylie Uffelman as the foundation’s new executive director. Uffelman has worked and volunteered within the White Salmon Valley School District for more than a decade, and brings an unwavering passion for public education in the White Salmon community to the role.
Kylie’s ties to the White Salmon schools are both professional and personal. Before joining the foundation, Kylie worked as a reading intervention specialist and provided early learning community outreach to local students. As a parent of three children in the White Salmon Valley school system, she understands the challenges educators and students face, and how the WSVEF can continue to provide resources to enhance the quality of education available to all White Salmon students.
"Kylie will bring enthusiasm, integrity, and community connection to our organization,” said Anne Stringer, president of the board of directors. “We feel lucky to have her on board and look forward to a successful future with her at the helm.”
"I am honored to join WSVEF and to work with its talented board of directors, committed supporters, and dedicated volunteers,” said Uffelman. “I look forward to making a strong start this spring, building on the past successes of the WSVEF and striving to help further advance the mission of this wonderful organization that has enriched our childrens’ education since 2006.”
