7th Graders at the Theater

Seventh-grade students will connect classroom learning with their local arts community through a visit to The Bingen Theater to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Building on an in-school workshop with an Artist in Residence, students will experience live theater, tour the theater itself, and participate in a Q&A with actors. The experience will support their Language Arts curriculum by helping students explore storytelling through performance while introducing them to elements such as acting, set building, costumes, lighting, and directing. By partnering with the Bingen Theater, the project also gives students an opportunity to discover an arts resource right in their own community.
