These Chromebooks will enable Whitson Elementary to offer a new Digital Spanish class, while continuing a newly combined Library/Computer Science class. Both native English and native Spanish speaking families have requested of the Whitson principal that the school offer some kind Spanish class to students, but up until this year they have been unable to do so. By funding the purchase of new Chromebooks, this grant helps to create the capacity for there to be enough computers to enable both a Digital Spanish class, and the Library/Computer Science class.
